This website is the personal academic and professional portfolio of Md. Mehedi Hasan, published by him as an individual. Reading it, linking to it, or using the contact form means accepting the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simply not to use the site.

How the site handles data is a separate document: the privacy policy. Where the two overlap, the privacy policy is the more specific and governs.

You are welcome to read this site, quote it with attribution, cite it, link to any page on it, and share it. No permission is needed for any of that.

Please do not:

• Attempt to reach the administrative area, the database, or any non-public endpoint — including guessing credentials, replaying a session, or probing for a way past the authorization checks.
• Scan, fuzz or stress the site, or send automated traffic at a rate that degrades it for other readers.
• Use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, malware, or content designed to exploit whatever reads it.
• Copy the site’s design, code or written content wholesale and republish it as your own, or present yourself as its author.
• Misrepresent the owner, his affiliations, his qualifications, or the results described here — including by quoting a figure out of the context that qualifies it.
• Remove or obscure an attribution notice.

Security research is not the target of any of the above. If you find a genuine vulnerability, report it through the contact form and give a reasonable period to fix it before disclosing.

• The written content. Research descriptions, project write-ups, blog posts and every other line of prose on the site are his, and are published here rather than placed in the public domain.
• The generated illustrations. The vector assets are original work produced for this repository.
• The photographs. The images used in the hero and profile are the owner’s own.
• Third-party organisation marks. Logos of universities, laboratories, employers and issuing bodies remain the property of those organisations. They appear unaltered and are used nominatively — to identify the organisation being referred to — and each one is recorded in the repository’s attributions file. Their presence implies no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation beyond the relationship the page describes.

Quoting a passage with a link back is fine. Reproducing a whole page, or reusing the design, needs permission — ask through the contact form.

The research, project and publication pages describe work as it stands. They are a summary written for a reader, not a record of authority: where a piece of work has been published, the peer-reviewed version is the source of record and it wins over anything said here.

Figures are reported as measured, in the conditions the page names, and no figure on this site is presented without those conditions. A metric measured on a small test set says so. An empty field is an empty field — this site is built so that missing information renders as absent rather than as a placeholder, and an absence should be read as “not recorded yet” and not as zero.

Descriptions of ongoing or intended work are ambitions, not achievements, and are worded to say which they are. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim to a qualification that has not been awarded.

Any model, pipeline or result described on this site is research work. None of it is a medical device, none of it is cleared or approved by any regulator, and none of it may be used to inform a diagnosis, a treatment decision, or the care of a patient. That applies to every clinical or biomedical project described here, whatever the reported performance.

Nothing on this site is professional, medical, clinical, legal, financial or engineering advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship of any kind.

This site links outward — to publishers, journals, code repositories, institutions and profiles. Those destinations are not controlled by the owner, and their content, availability and privacy practices are their own. A link is a reference, not an endorsement, and following one takes you outside the terms on this page.

Outbound links open in a new tab and are marked as doing so in the accessible name, so the behaviour is announced rather than discovered.

A message you send through the form is stored in this site’s database and, if notifications are configured, emailed to the owner. What that involves in detail is set out in the privacy policy.

• Do not send confidential, sensitive, or legally privileged material, and do not send another person’s personal data. It is a web form on a personal site, not a secure channel.
• There is no guarantee of a reply, and no service level on one. Sending a message creates no confidential or contractual relationship.
• An automated spam check may discard a submission. The page reports success either way, so if a message matters and goes unanswered, send it to the published email address instead.
• Submissions are rate-limited. Exceeding the limit is refused rather than queued.

The site is provided as it is, with no promise of uptime. It runs on third-party hosting and a third-party database, either of which can be unavailable for reasons outside the owner’s control. Pages, content, routes and features may be added, changed or removed at any time, without notice and without an archive of what was there before.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty of any kind is given — express or implied — including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the owner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from use of this site, from reliance on anything published on it, from its unavailability, or from any site it links to. This includes decisions made on the basis of research content described here.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms can be revised. The date at the top is the last revision, and continued use of the site after a change means accepting the revised version. No version history is published; a substantive change moves that date.
